This guitar was owned by child-actor Curtis Ray Young.

It is a Pre-production 1954 Fender Stratocaster. Most likely a promotion deal to advertise the Stratocaster.

It has been displayed at the National Association of Music Merchandisers' Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad, CA in 2013.

Little is know of the history of this guitar. If you have any, chime in in the comment section.

What we can tell is that the guitar is very little played and is in pristine condition. Most likely i featured on TV maybe once and was put away. The pickguard is still mint and has not discolored much over the last 70 years.

It is uncertain if Curtis is still alive today or of his whereabouts as there is zero information about him online.. There was a photo of him at the museum as well. As you can see in this photo.
