There is no records or pictures of Pilar Lopez that we know of. The only thing we know of her is that she was the first pickup winder at Fender Fullerton that was personally taught by Leo Fender. When Abigail Ybarra started working there in 1956, Pilar was the one who taught Abigail to wind pickups. Other than this, we know little. Ybarra has said that Pilar was a fantastic lady. Very kind and cheerful.
