Mid-1958 the Les Paul Junior transformed into the Double Cutaway SG Style.
Some Late-1958 had only 4-digit serial, missing the year annotator: (Ex: 8 XXXX)
All 4-digit are in the 6000 or 7000 range.
Early 1958 models had a Larger tortoise pickguard that later changed to the standard 1-ply smaller guard.
