CHANGES:
Mid-1961 saw the Gibson get the sharp pointy horns having the full modern SG Look.
Body has the SG tapered carved edges. This caused the jack port to be moved to the top beside the knobs. Meaning also the control cavity was larger.

1961: The SG/LP Junior could be custom ordered with a Tremolo/vibrato
